| There are currently websites that offer a Free CD for
finding government grants. There is a reason this CD is free; it
contains minimal resources and also signs you up for an online
membership unknowingly. When you sign up for this FREE CD, please make
sure to read the Terms of Agreement and see
what other offers they are automatically signing you up for. To easily
do this, search the terms of agreement for a dollar sign ($) using
CTRL-F. This will show you exactly what you are being charged in the
future for this "FREE" CD. |

Instant Downloads |
| Grant Search Link has researched most of these websites
and found ones offering different downloads tend to have small E-books
or files that are usually hard to understand or unrelated. Some of these
may help you understand government grants but do not support you
throughout the process. Most are poorly written and are just an excuse
for quality. |

| Some grant websites offer a monthly subscription
(sometimes hidden) to use there online resources or grant lists. We have
NOT found one website with an effective grant searching feature.
These all only have long grant lists and are hectic to look through to
find a grant that applies to you. They also contain minimal resources
and zero support. |

Book and CD Combo |
| We found many grant websites that offer a CD and Book
combo. These websites have good information but we feel have too much
up-selling. The product is over priced and updates cost extra money.
They also tend to also have hidden fees or offers and the free
consultants are not what they seem to be. The product gives you high
hopes but lacks the final steps to complete. |

Free Grant
Specialists or Consultants |
| Some websites offer "Free Grant Consultations" or
propose themselves as grant specialists. Most of these being advertised
tend to be using selling and marketing tactics to get as much money from
consumers as possible. They ask for thousands of dollars, in return they
offer to help you find and apply for grants. The usually end up
vanishing slowly or asking for more money. However, there are some good
grant writers out there, but they charge a lot of money. Grant writing
can be difficult and this is why they charge so much. If you have the
funding professional grant writers can be used, but first ask for
previous customers, and contact them for a review. |
